After hearing from several other burger lovers that Father's Office is THE place to get a burger in Los Angeles, I decided to visit the Santa Monica location for my birthday.
It's important to note that the burger comes dressed only one way, but you can choose how well you'd like your patty cooked.
I had the burger cooked medium rare, resulting in a juicy and tender patty. The bitter arugula proudly defined itself against the caramelized onions, while the cheddar and swiss cheeses mixed together harmoniously. Holding all the ingredients together is a mayo like sauce that's rich yet subtle with a hint of BBQ. Squeezed between a toasted french roll, this burger is definitely worth enjoying more than once.
Served with thin cut garlic aioli fries, Father's Office delivered on its hype and I'll indeed remember it as the perfect birthday treat.
